Clocks

Clocks are devices which are used to measure time. Time was calculated by many ways in the early days. Sundial was the popular method used initially. People measure time based on the shadows. But this was approximate. Sand clock and water clocks were used later. Though this was accurate these methods was able to work only for few minutes and need to be rest periodically. Candles were burnt to calculate leisure time spent.

Clocks are mainly classified into Analog, Digital and hybrid. Analog clocks mainly work on energy created due to winding. Time is calculated based on oscillation of pendulum. Modern day watches work with the help of batteries.
