Tsunami

Tsunami is a series of waves formed in the harbor. This occurs due to under water explosions like earthquake which happens in the deep oceans. Tsunami is derived from Japanese. Japanese are the people who know more about Tsunami as the occurrence of Tsunami is more frequent in Japan. According to history nearly 195 Tsunami’s have been recorded in Japan.

There are not much evident symptoms for the occurrence of Tsunami. But earthquakes near the coastal areas might create Tsunami. The worst hit of Tsunami was recorded on December 26, 2004. This had its base near Indonesia and affected India and neighboring countries. This is known as ‘The Boxing Day Tsunami’.
