Camera

Camera is a device used to take still pictures. This is derived from a Latin word ‘ Camera Obscura’ which means Dark Chamber. It has a lens and shutter. Every time the shutter is opened and closed ones, an image or a still is captured. The first portable camera was invented on 1865 by Johan Zahn. But the image received was not permanent. The first permanent photograph was taken on 1826. The first color photograph was taken on 1861 by James Clark Maxwell and Thomas Sulton. Due to inventions and innovations in technology the modern day’s cameras are easy to use and have more features.
